Residence Royal - Syracuse

We enjoyed our city break in a spacious apartment with a well-equipped kitchenette. The location was convenient, with a supermarket just a few minutes away and easy access to public transportation. The best aspect was the free and secure parking available on-site.

Our stay was marred by a few negative aspects. The balcony door was broken and did not close properly, allowing traffic noise to disturb us.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was conveniently located, and apartment was clean and spacious and good value for money.

The apartment is spacious.

The locations is inconvenience. The facilities is too old. There is no internet in the apartment. You have to go to the reception room for the wifi. It is very inconvenience.

We stayed at this hotel during our road trip, and unfortunately, its location was quite a hassle. Not close to the center, it took us a while to find the place, and when we wanted to visit the city, getting there was a headache. On top of that, the bathroom was not well-maintained, and the towels smelled funky. we appreciated the security of the gated parking lot and the spacious living room area in the apartment.

Our apartment was spacious and had a working kitchen (tho sparsely equipped) - note: turn the gas on under the bench for the cooktop. There is a supermarket in walking distance (turn left out of the driveway). Parking wasn't a problem (in the building's courtyard). Airconditioning worked! Shower and bed were good.

We couldn't find a receptionist - there was a message on the office door but not in English. The cleaner let us in to our room. Wired internet didn't appear to work, but we couldn't locate anyone to help with that.

The apartment was quite spacious. Separate bedroom with queen bed and single beds in living area. Kitchen had stove and fridge. Location is not too bad. It is on a busy main road with bus at door. On site parking was provided which is a bonus in Siracusa. Very cheap and it served the purpose, but only two star.

Very outdated and tired. The single beds are not suitable for adults. Insufficient linen and towels supplied. Shower very small. Staff do not speak any English.

Convenient location, spacious rooms, and free parking. This hotel is well-suited for those traveling by car, given its location close to major roads. The ample parking space was a huge plus, and I felt more at ease knowing I didn't have to worry about finding a spot on the street. The rooms were spacious and offered a kitchenette, providing a great deal of convenience. there were plenty of shops and cafes within walking distance.

The hotel is very well located, and offers very good value. The apartments are very spacious and well fit. Staff is nice. You don't feel at a hotel, you feel as if renting an apartment. Free parking is another nice feature.

Towels and linens were clean but past their expiration date.

The apartments were clean and spacious, offering a lot of freedom. the location was great, as it was easy to get around with a car and there was secure parking available for free. having a kitchenette was very convenient for making breakfast or snacks whenever we wanted.

There was a bit of a smoking smell in our apartment, which wasn't ideal. We also had some trouble with the Wi-Fi, as we had to log in every time we got disconnected.

Very good location when you have a car - close to the city centre and all the main roads and motorway. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped. A lot of free car park space, free wi-fi nearby and a big supermarket within walking distance. The lady who was looking after us was very nice and extremely helpful, I might be wrong about the name but I think she was siniora Messina. Me and my friend stayed there 10 days and felt like at home.

Everything was fine. We came across a few ants strolling on the table but this is normal in such climate and it is not the hotel's fault.

Spacious apartment, great location for those with a car who want to use Siracusa as a base from which to explore the southeast and east of Sicily. Very economical, big supermarket nearby for shopping for food to cook or take on picnics, also easy and inexpensive parking on Ortigia to explore the old town, visit the food market, etc. The owner is very helpful, speaks pretty good English.

The rooms were fairly clean except for dusty drawers and a general air of shabbiness in regard to the furniture. But for the price a very good place to stay.

The flat is very cheap in comparison with other places in Siracuse. It's very big (+/- 70 m^2) with a big living room, american kitchen, bathroom and a sleeping room. It's a quiet place.

The flat is located in an ugly building and is bvery old fashionned (late 80's).

Staff was very polite and cooperating, still its English was a bit poor. Free parking in interior yard.

Seemed like quickly renovated suburban apartment from 70-S. Name of hotel is exceptionally misleading :) For budget stay and make-your-own dinner/breakfast may be totally okay. Located quite far from city center. Nearest supermarkets close early, nearest restaurant is at least 700 meters walk after crossing major road at roundabout. Our own fault not to read description carefully enough.

Good price (arrival: April)

The room was really dirty. We had the feeling that the bed sheets were not changed after previous guests (hairs on beds, not fresh and stiff enough to be freshly changed). Poor neighborhood...
